Sally McLean nominated for Best Lead Actress in a TV Series in the USA

Last weekend the New Bedford Film Festival in the USA announced their nominees for their 2025 Awards and I got the rather amazing news that I have been nominated for Best Lead Actress in a TV Series for my work as “Hecate MacFindlay” in Dark Arcadia!

I was also nominated for Best Screenwriter for a TV Series, which was icing on a rather amazing cake! I am overbrimming with gratitude for this acknowledgement and so delighted and, yes, gobsmacked!

Dark Arcadia received 7 award nominations in total at the festival, which is an extraordinary outcome:

Best Ensemble in a Feature, Short Film or TV Series
Best Lead Actor in a TV Series – Joel Nankervis
Best Lead Actress in a TV Series – Sally McLean
Best Lead Actress in a TV Series – Ag Johnson
Best Supporting Actress in a Short Film, Feature Film or TV Series – Phoebe Anne Taylor
Best Screenwriting for a TV Series – Sally McLean
Best TV Series

A huge thank you to the NBFF Jury for this amazing acknowledgement of the work and congrats to all my fellow nominees and to my fabulous Dark Arcadia cast of actors and intrepid crew. I am so thrilled for everyone that the series has been so well received!
