Sally’s work on display at the CDC Museum in Atlanta, Georgia USA
I still find it amazing that something I made in my loungeroom while in lockdown out of scraps of material and cardboard is now on display in a museum in the USA! The headgear I created for my role as “Queen Katherine” in Shakespeare’s Henry VIII for The Show Must Go Online is part of the official collection in the Stand & Witness: Art In The Time of Covid 19 exhibition at the CDC Museum in Atlanta, Georgia, as part of a display celebrating the incredible work of Rob Myles, Sarah Peachey and their team during the pandemic in 2020 – alongside some of the other amazing prop and costume creations by my fellow cast members during the run of shows – and a gamut of COVID-19 inspired creative work from other artists from around the world.
Here are some snaps of the Opening of the exhibition, courtesy of the CDC, and some of the other incredible art on display.

Finally, here is me wearing the headgear during the show back in 2020, just so you have context on what it actually looked like as part of the costume.

For those in the Atlanta area – the exhibition runs until October 25.
