    On this day: Commemorating the 100th Anniversary of Franz Stampfl’s birth

    Today, November 18th, 2013, marks the 100th anniversary of Franz Stampfl’s birth.  To honour the occasion, here is the latest trailer from my documentary project “A Life Unexpected”, which tells the story of Franz Stampfl’s life and career, featuring some of the fascinating people I’ve had the honour of  interviewing for the film to date. In addition to Sir Roger Bannister, Sir Christopher Chataway, Ulick O’Connor and members of the Stampfl family, you will also hear from John Landy, Ralph Doubell and Tim Lincoln (son of Merv Lincoln), among others.
