    Offspring and Evie Wants a Baby … I’m seeing a sort of theme here …

    As per our last update, Sally was appearing on ABC Television in the semi-regular role of “Lee’s Mum” in The Bazura Project, directing and producing her first major docudrama A Life Unexpected: The Franz Stampfl Story(yes, it’s been re-titled) and waiting for the greenlight for a couple of acting gigs. So, what’s happened since then? Sally has played “Astra” in Evie Wants A Baby (see above photo) for Lollapalooza Films, ooh-ed and ahh-ed over bargins for the recent series of K-Mart commercials, played a Journalist for Offspring (Channel 10) and is currently giving her Shakespeare brain another workout with Banyai Theatre.     Getting the “Lowdown” on “The Show”

    New TV roles, getting ready for a film launch and more! Sally has just finished shooting the role of “Heather” for Adam Zwar’s new ABC TV comedy series “Lowdown“, due to air next year. She has also finished filming the new Internet TV parody magazine style show Culture Pig (see above) – first episode is now online here. In other film news, the trailer for “Why Must The Show Go On?“, a mockumentary set in the world of fringe theatre, where Sally plays Artistic Director, “Madeleine Le Roy” is now online and available and presented here for your entertainment … The launch for the film is now scheduled for February 2010

    Busy time coming up – a new film, new TV pilot and a new chapter in general! Work is about to start on Sally’s next film project, a comedy about the arts scene called “Why Must The Show Go On?” directed by Paul Anthony Nelson. Pre-production has commenced, and filming is scheduled to start in late January with Sally in the role of the intense and driven “Madeleine”. Sally is also about to shoot the web TV series, “D.A.T.E.
