Sally McLean nominated for Best Actress at the 2025 IOWF in Italy
I am so thrilled to share that the nominations are out for the 2025 International Online Web Fest – and I’ve been nominated for three awards, including Best Director, the Pablo Cedrón Award for Best Original Screenplay and Best Actress for my work on Dark Arcadia!
The series garnered a total of six award nominations, with the other three being for Best Web Series, Best Original Music (for Sass Pinci) and Best Cinematography (for Wilson Huang).
I am so over-the-moon with this amazing acknowledgement of not only my work, but also all my amazing team – both in front of and behind the camera – without whom this series would not exist. Congratulations to all of them!
A huge thank you to the IOWF for this wonderful cache of nominations. It is truly a privilege and thrilling to just be selected for festivals and industry award events, such as this, as the competition is fierce and there is so much talent out there on the circuit. But to then be nominated, and for so many categories, is just next level.
So thrilled. So delighted. So gobsmacked and so grateful.
