Well, this is amazing and unexpected and wonderful and all the good things. The Florence Film Awards took place in Italy last week and I was gobsmacked to receive the news that I have been announced as the winner of the Best Actress Award for my turn as “Hecate MacFindlay” in Dark Arcadia! On top of that, the series was also named Best Web/TV Series at the Awards!
A huge thank you to the Florence Film Awards jury! I couldn’t be more thrilled and grateful. Many thanks also to the wonderful cast I had the privilage and honour to work alongside on screen and also direct. They are all awesome humans and talents and I couldn’t be more thankful that they all agreed to be part of this project. You all rock and deserve all the love.
As we near the end of the festival run for this project, I am so chuffed with this recognition for the work. So delighted and still pinching myself!
